NEJI - why are you down at the river looking at cute little baby ducks? I would have liked to have joined you. Did you take any stale bread to feed them? I've been trying to figure out stuff for the wedding and only Ojii-chan is helping me! I haven't been able to find you. ;_; Ojii-chan thought we could ask Chouji to cook for us, Ino for providing the flowers, and...I can't remember anything more. ~_~

I can't even decide on a hairstyle! What do you think of the following? And does anyone else have any suggestions/advice?
I asked the hairdresser how you could make my hairstyle more elegant and he suggested braids.

At first I was just going to settle with something like this, which I quite like, but then the hairdresser became a bit excited and suggested other things...

The first one is called the Wedding Braid, and look - the second one looks like a heart!

The hairdresser, of course, asked what the occasion was and when he discovered I was engaged to THE Hyuuga Neji (you're apparently well known through hairdressing circles? In any case, he suggested this for you: it's called the Legolas Braid. Apparently some blond-haired archer had this hairstyle in a famous trilogy of movies. o_o

Ojii-chan came and saw me today, and we started talking about the wedding and getting married and how I would have a last name and a family and everything, and then he told me some very important things about myself.

It came as a bit of a shock to learn that not only had Ojii-chan known my mother, that she was actually his student and a teammate of the Yondaime. O_O

I was speechless. I dropped my basket of easter eggs and they rolled everywhere. ~~Yes, I still have some if anyone wants any.~~

Ojii-chan said that he was there when I was born, as was the Yondaime. My mother was then killed when the Kyuubi attacked Konoha. He said...that she was a very powerful ninja, a good friend...and a very brave woman. Ojii-chan told me she died fighting alongside the Yondaime. The rest of my clan was destroyed in the attack too.

I always thought that my mother was dead. I accepted that long ago; I'm just so thankful to know more about the type of person my mother was. Her name was Noriko. I never knew that before. ~~But Ojii-chan couldn't remember her last name. =__=;;~~

I also finally found out where all those hot cross buns came from for my birthday every year! It was Ojii-chan! o.o ~~I've never told anyone about the strange appearence of hot cross buns at my birthday. I thought it was very strange. >.>~~ He said that he had wanted to take both Naruto-kun and me away from the village but the Sandaime wouldn't allow it.

It's all very strange; I am still trying to get my head around it. O_o

He also gave me three things he was going to give me at the wedding; my mother's broken anbu mask, her katana and a picture of her and her team when they were genin. I shall treasure them.

Ojii-chan didn't know my father. Although he did say that my father wasn't in Konoha during the Kyuubi attack and that afterwards they had sent him word that my mother's clan hadn't survived, as at the time had thought I'd been lost too. Any messages after didn't appear to reach him. My father, it seems, never came back to Konoha. He might still be alive.

...oh! And by Ojii-chan I mean Jiraiya-sama. He asked me to call him grandpa. ^_^;

Neji, I just have to say a few things.

Firstly, about what happened between Kabuto and I...I still don't know really how you came to know of it, except that it had something to do with Sakura and Blues Clues. ~~I don't know how you could have guessed something like that...~~ I was going to tell you myself. And I know you said you didn't blame me, but still...it's something that I can't believe happened, and I still blame myself at least partially for it, even though Kabuto has tried to convince me otherwise. But still...I-I should have known that Kabuto wasn't in his right mind; I should have been able to tell his intentions; I shouldn't have drunk any of the tea he made me...it makes me feel stupid and useless as a kunoichi. I'm sorry, Neji.

Secondly, pregnancy. I have come to the conclusion, that since nothing has been making itself known to me that would suggest I am pregnant, I mustn't be. Simple as that, really. And I think for myself, I need to leave it at that. I feel I've been living in too much uncertainty about it, and I'd just like to leave it to rest, unless you would like to talk about it.

Thirdly...marriage. Things have been getting in the way of our plans, that much is obvious. I still wish to marry you, because I still love you. That has been the remaining constant in my life these past few weeks. It's just that I can't help thinking that to go to so much extravagance...it would be wonderful, of course; but I would be completely satisfied with the signing of a piece of paper with whoever was present to be witness. I could wear a simple white dress, and then we could celebrate.

The memory of wearing your oversized pajamas, braiding each others hair, and then being curled up against you; that is the memory that has been returning to me so often these past few days. As simple as it is, this memory is precious to me, just like all my memories with you.

As soon as I decide to be happy and was trying to forget my worries, something else had to happen. Something I can't even remember...

For all of Orochimaru's apparent evilness, I believe him; he has no reason to lie over something like this, and nothing to gain.

I so wish Neji was here, but then again, I am so scared of seeing him...and telling him...and...I don't know what to do...;_;

As for the...other person involved...I need to find some more answers...I should see him, but that's something I know I don't want to do. Not yet. I just don't understand how and why and...u_u...but I suppose I need to know what he's perspective is, because I'm not going to be able to avoid him forever and I don't think I want to avoid him forever. u_u

It's a antique kunoichi tiara. ~~Hence the blood.~~ It was used as a concealed weapon in the assassination of higher-class ninja, where undercover work was required. It's...very sharp, and poison was also probably added to the blades to achieve a quick result...er...so, be careful handling it...I now realise it wasn't probably a suitable gift in regards to your new baby. TT_TT. I am sorry.

Today I have ate:

- A corner of a cheese and turkey sandwich Orochimaru made me.
- A bit of chicken noodle soup that both Orochimaru and Gai-sensei made me. (Orochimaru killed the chicken).
- ...stuff that you get when on IV, on which Kabuto hooked me up. Kabuto forced me; it was either that or pot, which apparently makes you hungry. O_o;
- A raw carrot that Neji prepared for me.
- A few pieces of apple that Jiraiya-sama cut up for me.
- A orange that the absolutely adorable Haru-chan made me eat.

...and I slept for a while under a drug induced sleep. Kabuto thinks I'm suffering from depression, and this is why I can't sleep or eat. Kabuto also informed me that from not eating or sleeping for 2-3 days, a baby would not survive. This...I...I was distraught. Have...have I-I killed my baby??

But Tsunade-sama is still saying I'm pregnant. O_o;

Neji took me back to his house to try and help me to sleep, but as relaxed as he made me, I couldn't. u_u He was fast asleep so I untangled myself from him and ended up with Tsunade-sama, Jiraiya-sama, Orochimaru, Kakashi-sensei and the babies ~~still wearing a pair of Neji's oversized pajamas, and no shoes~~. The Sannin's decided to have a Sannin pajama party, which they let me and Kakashi-sensei sit in on. I heard some very interesting ~~and amusing~~ stories of their childhoods and unrecorded history of Konoha that they don't teach you at the Academy. I was also looking after Haru-chan, since he wouldn't sleep. He is adorable~ And he learnt to say my name! ^_^ Well, he can say half of it. 'Ten'.

Jiraiya-sama, thank you for trying to cheer me up with your little frogs, they are cute. And you're stories are great. I think they must have worked a bit.

I wanted to apologise to everyone for my behaviour lately...it hasn't been particularly bad or anything, I know, but...I've been out of sorts. I think it had something to do with writing that journal entry....T__T;;;

...I’ve been training a lot. That’s what I’ve been concentrating on mostly since Neji has gone on his mission. Training and perfecting my techniques. No, I am not bored. I do have things to occupy myself while he is not here. *frowns*

Dear Journal,

This entry is my first in this lovely journal Neji gave me, for White Day. It was very considerate of him, because of my birthday horoscope and that he researched psychosomatic illnesses and everything. I hope I remember to update it...

Okay. Negative emotions. I’m supposed to write them down...but instead, I think I’ll write a different list. It seems more appropriate, to me...

THINGS I AM PERFECTLY FINE WITH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

In no particular order:
1. GETTING MARRIED.
2. That I miss Neji so much sometimes it hurts.
3. Sakura-chan being Tsunade-sama’s student/That I do not want to be a medic nin.
4. That I am completely over my weapon obsession.
5. That I never completed Gaara-san’s katana instruction. I only taught him how to grip properly...
6. That plushie of Neji’s.

7. The fact that I’m feeling rather...maternal? Shall blame Kabuto and Orochimaru.
8. That Lee is gone. Where the hell did he go? He makes me worry about him.
9. That Tsunade-sama is a gambling drunkard.

I had a very...interesting experience this morning. I woke up in the arms of a man I had never seen before in my life. Thankfully I got away before he woke. Maybe I should have poked him with a kunai and got some answers, but I think I was in shock...actually, I still feel rather sick, with bouts of dizziness and nausea, and my left arm is rather sore, and has this great big bruise on it. But none of this is my greatest concern at the moment.

What is more important is if anyone could give me the details of a medical practitioner? I...seem to have...well...it’s not normal to not know you're own name, is it? Something must have happened to me...I don’t know, I can’t remember. That’s the problem; I can’t remember anything.

All I do remember is that I'm a ninja, and...that someone is missing. And there is a promise. But I don’t know...I can’t remember. I’m so confused...it hurts in a strange way. It hurts really badly.

I can’t remember this person, and that’s making everything not right. It’s obvious to me that this person was someone I loved very much. I need to find this person and fulfill this promise. Even though I have no idea of who and what. Or when, where, how and why, either.

This is all I can say I remember. I am rather stuck about what I should do now. Besides trying to stay away from that man with the long brown hair. *shudders*

You didn’t know, but I also do some calligraphy...and I knew of this symbol, and I also found out that it’s connected to Fung Shui, you see, so...I wrote it for you...it’s the Double Happiness Symbol, which is a Chinese character that represents a couple’s love.
